Whooo!  Lost another pound!  Yeah!  It slowly seems like it's going to come off now.  It's helping bring back my confidence.  I've been so unsure since I got pregnant if I'd be able to lose the baby weight.  It seems as if "shaking up" my food and exercise has really helped...along with no more fat-free vanilla creamer.  Frown  Silly, but right now I'm dedicated to doing whatever it takes.  Hopefully things will even out once my hormones/cycle do.

Not to bring up religious conversations in my blogs but we went to baptismal class for our son last night and I whined and complained all day because I knew after going to JC, grabbing a quick bite to eat at my Mom's, and then heading to baptismal class I wasn't going to get home until 9.  But, I'm SO GLAD I went.  I met some really nice people.  More importantly, they were young parents that are going through a lot of the same things as my husband and me.  As much as it is lonely for people who are not married or do not have kids; it can be just as lonely for couples with a baby when not many of your friends do.  Since your friends are not in the same stage some of them don't seem to get it (and neither did I until this little guy was born) and partying late night, or even just picking up to go see a movie is a thing of the past.  Evenings like those are rare and so you start to seek other couples with kids because you don't want to go over to friends' houses without kids that are still in the party scene and bring a baby...I'm too afraid it would impose on their night of fun.  It seems silly but it really has made me lonely.  My friends go on with their lives and I with mine but it leaves our evenings out very limited.  It starts to make me feel insecure that I'm going to lose friendships.  I know in reality if they're strong they will survive but it doesn't ease the insecurity very much.  The whole point of this lengthy paragraph is that we met a lot of great families last night and I'm really excited and hopeful that our son will one day be able to attend school there and have some great experiences just like I did.
